To sum up myself, takes a little more than just a paragraph or so. I am definitely the one that is caught being sarcastic and humorous 90% of the time. I am a single mom of three great kids and grandma to two beautiful granddaughters. I have my associate's degree in criminal justice and am working on my bachelor's. I hope to one day work in the California Dept of Corrections and Rehabilitation as a parole officer. I am currently a security officer. Any free time that I have I like to dance, take walks, read, etc.

I'm an independent adventurous woman. I like movies, music, books, museums, shows, and also relaxing at home with a nice dinner. My kids are a big part of my life, but they are getting older so there is more time to play!

First of all, I'm a big nerd who winds up describing a surprising number of events as "seemed like a good idea at the time." Take my username: CosmicStrip. I don't even remember what that means. I like reading old comic strips like Krazy Kat and Pogo, so maybe that's part of it. But "cosmic"? No clue what I was thinking. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Otherwise, I enjoy most nerdly pursuits: movies (mostly sci-fi/fantasy/horror), video games and boardgames. I'm an amateur artist, and I'm gradually learning to play guitar.
